General Partner

Pavel is co-founder of NEVEQ Capital Partners, where he is focused on enterprise software, marketplaces and shared services. He led the exits of Finanalytica to BISAM/FactSet, Vayant to PROS Holding and Properati to OLX.

He worked at Microsoft in Redmond, WA and was an investment banker with Deutsche Bank in London. Pavel founded Deutsche's Bulgarian business in 2004 as its chief country officer and left it to found Sofica Group, acquired in 2014 by Denver-based TeleTech (TTEC).

He enjoys downhill and off-piste skiing and kitesurfing and is a freelance photographer for lifestyle and outdoors media. Pavel was a trustee at the American University in Bulgaria. He speaks five languages and lives between Madrid and Sofia, where he is also co-managing a private investment company focused on disrupting space and health.



General Partner

Zlatolina is an experienced investor with a track record in private equity, start-ups, turnarounds and financial management. Prior to joining NEVEQ, she was the CEO of EuroIns Insurance Group, a publicly listed insurance business active in Southeast Europe. She also worked as a Deputy Minister of Transport and Telecommunications, overseeing transformational transactions of the authority's portfolio companies. Prior to this, she worked as a senior investment executive with a regional private equity fund, launched by EBRD.

Zlatolina holds an ACCA certified diploma, in addition to Master degrees in engineering and accounting, and speaks English and Russian.



General Partner

Konstantin is a co-founder of NEVEQ. He is a serial entrepreneur and an angel investor who launched and successfully exited three technology companies. His most successful business prior to NEVEQ was Orbitel, where he was also a lead investor and CEO, until the company was sold to Magyar Telekom, a division of Deutsche Telekom, in 2006.

Konstantin has an engineering degree and an international relations degree. At NEVEQ, he invested in data management technologies, data analytics and hosting infrastructure.



Investment Manager

Aleksandar is an investment manager at NEVEQ and is actively engaged in the investment, post-investment and exit stage of the Fund's dynamics. His role includes active collaboration with four portfolio companies, attending management and board meetings, calibrating business plans, participating in strategy meetings, tracking financial and management objectives etc. Before coming to NEVEQ, Aleksandar was a Strategy Consultant at Roland Berger where he worked on various projects in Central and Eastern Europe including commercial due diligence, internationalisation strategy and market-entry projects.

Aleksandar holds a MSc degree in Finance from Bradford University School of Management and successfully passed Level III of the CFA Program.



Investment Manager

Yordan is an investment professional with experience in M&A and corporate finance. He began his career in Forem Consulting, where he worked on buy and sell-side transactions. After an internship with the investment banking team at HSBC (London), he joined EuroHold Group, a publicly listed financial institution in Bulgaria. He ultimately became the head of investment banking of Euro-Finance Bulgaria, part of EuroHold Group, the most established local investment intermediary and led several strategic acquisitions, capital raisings, public listings, divestments and deal structurings in a variety of sectors. Before joining NEVEQ as an investment manager, he headed business planning and development at Philip Morris International (Bulgaria affiliate).

Yordan holds a BA in Business Administration from the American University in Bulgaria and is fluent in English.

Supporting entrepreneurs through mentoring

NEVEQ team members contribute time and insights to help the start-up ecosystem grow and be stronger. We have frequently served as advisors in sessions organized by local accelelator programs, such as LAUNCHub and Eleven as well as angel clubs globally. See the Ecosystem Map.


Supporting events helping the entrepreneurial ecosystem

  • NEVEQ participates in and/or supports seminars, conferences and events aiming at the development of entrepreneurship and the start-up ecosystem in the region and Europe, featuring professors from Kellogg, AUBG, INSEAD, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and VUZF Bulgaria;
  • NEVEQ is a co-organizer of the annual DigitalK conference which attracts hundreds of entrepreneurs, investors and other members of the information technology community in Bulgaria, the region and Europe, as well as from tech hubs like the U.S., Israel and the rest of the world.


Enhancing the skills and capabilities of entrepreneurs

NEVEQ organizes seminars and workshops for its portfolio companies' executives and people from the startup community with leading experts in various business areas to help them improve student and entrepreneur skills and knowledge. We are actively involved in events with local universities and respected leaders from organizations like SAP, GE, EY, the European Investment Fund, the EBRD, The World Bank and partner funds in the region.
